For those trekkers that come to Cusco directly from places at sea level; we recommend arriving 2-3 days before your trek. Two of the most common health issues among tourists in Cusco are: The Altitude Sickness (Soroche) and stomach pain provoked by slow digestion.
In general if you have regular exercise and spend a couple of days in Cusco, or in the Sacred Valley for acclimatization to the altitude, you may be fine.
The recommended medicine for altitude sickness is WATER, COCA TEA and OXYGEN IF NEEDED; our guides are trained to treat you for Altitude Sickness.
We offer the Cusco City Tour or Sacred Valley Tour that you can book while you are acclimatizing. Check out our Day Tours on our Home Page.

Yes it is locate above (3600m / 11.810ft), but we are going to walk just around hanging Inca Bridge, and into the Qarañawi Cave is quite Andean flat (undulated walk), which means walking will be ok, maybe some altitude sickness like (Soroche or headache), for that we have some Andean medicine, like coca leafs, or some coca candy’s, you will be fine.
